Two Oregon group schools are suing the U.S. Division of Veterans Affairs over efforts to take again hundreds of thousands in GI Invoice advantages that the division says it overpaid via greater than $10 million for helicopter and plane flight coaching systems, The Oregonian reported.
The dep. had requested to be repaid more or less $6 million via Portland Group School $3.2 million via Central Oregon Group School, $1.3 million via Klamath Group School, and $275,000 via Lane Group School.
The 2 faculties suing are Klamath and Portland. The complaints observe a long-running battle between the VA and 4 Oregon group schools’ flight faculties. The universities have spent loads of hundreds combating the company’s efforts.
Portland Group School has stopped taking GI advantages for its aviation science program.
