West Virginia State College (WVSU) will take part within the Develop with Google HBCU Occupation Readiness Program, which supplies Black scholars at over 30 traditionally Black faculties and universities (HBCUs) virtual talents coaching and profession workshops in preparation to sign up for the fashionable team of workers.
Thru a $3 million funding within the Thurgood Marshall Faculty Fund (TMCF), the program will educate 100,000 Black faculty scholars through 2025.
“A central a part of the project of TMCF is to organize the following era of team of workers ability. Our partnership with Google permits this project and guarantees scholars from Traditionally Black Faculties and Universities are situated to compete for significant careers,” stated Dr. Harry L. Williams, president and CEO of Thurgood Marshall Faculty Fund.
This system – it all started in 2020 – provides HBCU profession facilities investment and a semester-long virtual talents program.
